The Pilgrimage of Fire and Ice occurs once a year, before the coming of spring.
The entire time period covers the gifting festivals and the Fire and Ice festivals.
The name; of Fire and Ice, is actualy a misnomer, as the pilgrimage is of Fire and Water, but as the first pilgrimages used ice to transport the water as the relics Jars of Grace did not exist yet.
The Pilgrimage is used to celebrate the brings of fire and water to new towns, and is celebrated by a renactment of the same same original prilgrimage. Monks of the Fire Temple and Monks of the Water Temple take the Jar of Grace, fill it with thier temples name sake, and then travel from the north to the south to exchange the Jars.
